The School of Nursing and Midwifery is a dynamic, innovative, research active department with vibrant teaching and research programmes. Applicants should have a good academic record with appropriate professional and academic qualifications, and have experience of teaching in third level, course development, and participating in/conducting research. Applicants must be registered midwives, have good clinical experience in midwifery, and hold a relevant masters degree. Working as part of a team, the successful candidate is expected to contribute to teaching, both in classroom and clinical settings, curriculum and practice development and research initiatives. S/he will teach their specialist subjects across appropriate programmes offered by the School of Nursing and Midwifery.
