Our client is a leading manufacturer of industrial electrical equipment and are based in Duleek Co. Meath an are looking to appoint an Accounting Technician on a part-time basis.
2.5 days per week with flexibility with hours.
Work with all departments within the company
Communication will all department managers

Maintaining, supporting and promoting a safe work environment
Duties and Responsibilities
Liaise with Operating departments to ensure timely issue of sales invoices; ensure invoices comply with Customer requirements with regard to PO, special instructions etc. Manage the distribution of invoices from Customers
Issue Customer statement monthly
Proactively review Customer profiles to establish opportunities for Direct Debits and other early payment opportunities
Apply Customer payments to Debtors Ledger in conjunction with monthly Bank reconciliations.
Enter RCT onto revenue.ie
Reconcile Debtors Ledger balances to Debtors Control Accounts in Nominal Ledger.
Proactively chase customer payments and deal with all phone queries
Maintain schedules including Cash Flow Forecasts for Financial Controller
Prepare bank reconciliations on a weekly basis
Analyse credit cards payments on a monthly basis
Assist Financial Controller in ad hoc projects & tasks
Leaving Certificate with minimum D in higher level English (or C in ordinary level English) and minimum C in ordinary level Math
At least 3 years in an Accounts Department in a commercial organization
Experience with Sage would be a distinct advantage
Experience in the construction industry would be an advantage
Demonstrated hands-on experience with Microsoft Applications: Outlook, Excel, Word
