English 1920s Art Deco Green Glass Boudoir Table Trinket Set by Sowerby.

Sowerby Glassworks Ltd England introduced this outstanding glass trinket boudoir set in circa 1922. It is the documented "Butterflies & Daffodils" pattern No. 2552.
It is a Sowerby glass masterpiece in terms of decorative style and moulded glass artistry of the period. The mouldings are exceptionally well defined with butterflies, in various stages of flight,set among Art Deco stylized motifs & foliage.
Five components make up this set: A tray, A pair of candlestick holders,a lidded powder box and a trinket dish,all of which have been press-moulded using Sowerby Glassworks renowned coloured glass of the period: Translucent Apple-Green, and all of the components have been designed so that they can comfortably sit upon their tray,if desired. All components are in perfect condition save three tiny chips inside the rim on the base of the powder jar.
