European General Manager, hospitality in 5 star standard previous worked in China before and wish to return for opportunities. This role will report to the President base in HK.
Salary budget: USD$14,000 excluding bonus, incentive and others that can be neg during the interview.
I have 2 General Manager opening one base in Chengdu and the other in Suzhou to oversees all aspects of the hotel operation; provides the vision, leadership and strategy to inspire his/her Colleagues and senior leadership team to drive market share and business results; enabling innovation and building the recognition of the brand for my client new properties.
This person is responsible for the overall management, sales and marketing initiatives and strategies Ensure sustainable profitable growth and ROI for stakeholders. Formulate and implement the hotel’s short, medium and long term strategies to meet business objectives
Ensure that the operations of the hotel are in adherence with brand standards, policies and procedures for the Niccolo brand
Maintain the assets of the hotel while executing approved Capex projects, Select, evaluate, motivate and support a professional and progressive management team, and efficiently manage manpower metrics
Act as spokesperson and brand ambassador
Responsible for the preparation, presentation and subsequent achievement of the Hotel’s annual operating Budget, sales & Marketing Plan and Capital Budget
Manage on-going profitability of the hotel, ensuring revenue and guest satisfaction targets are met and exceeded
Responsible for managing the Hotels management team and overall hotel targets to deliver an excellent Guest Experience. Would also be required to manage between profitability and guest satisfaction target.
Minimum 8-10 years experience as a General Manager in an internationally recognize luxury hotel brand and 20 years+ in a senior management role
Pre-opening hotel experience in China
Extensive exposure with China market, preferably with the Yangtze River Delta area
Extensive exposure with luxury market

Excellent communication skills, public speaking, written and oral, with the ability to customize the message to the audience (guests, colleagues, associates, owner, and other stakeholders)
Ability to coach and counsel team members on job performance
Ability to create and execute a business plan for the hotel including producing the annual budgets for the hotel
Excellent command of spoken and written English
Experience managing budgets, revenue proposals and forecasting results in a similar sized property
Strong commercial acumen, with experience in increasing profitability
