We are recruiting for a Manager to work at one of our Dublin Student Campus buildings which we rent out to leisure guests of all ages and from all around the world. You will welcome guests and work with our team and suppliers to ensure the guests enjoy their stay. Someone who has managed hostels / hotels previously would be ideal.
We are looking for friendly people who can build rapport and keep the peace with our guests and team. A friendly attitude combined with a strong work ethic, problem solving resilience, great reliability and time keeping, plus a passion for continual improvement.
You will need to work on computers daily therefore Microsoft Word, Excel and general computer knowledge to pick up different software will be required.
Strong English language skills are required in both speaking, reading and writing.
other language speakers such as Spanish, Italian, French, German, Cantonese.
What we are really looking for is people with the right attitude, we can teach you the rest!
Working with us you will be exposed to all aspects of business from sales, customers, suppliers, accounts and operations. This will give successful candidates a great insight into business management and future jobs.
We can supply live in accommodation at most of our buildings.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to: – Supervising reception, room shift and cleaning staff on a daily basis, ensuring high standards within housekeeping, maintenance and reception – Long working hours, if required – Preparing the working schedule on a weekly or bi-weekly basis – Make record of working hours of staff, complete time-sheets – Be able to work both on reception and/or help cleaning team/room shifts if required – Responsible for the overall smooth running of the hostel – Dealing with emergencies outside office hours – Dealing with requests from guests, any complains or positive feedback directed to you or the company in a professional and a polite manner – The role requires that you work with the existing team to ensure absolute customer satisfaction and also meet or exceed sales and profit targets
