Job Description We are looking for an experienced Sous Chef to join our team at Nanny Quinn's. Our restaurant and bar are located on the Banks of the Royal Canal on the newly launched Royal Canal Greenway. The Ideal Candidate should have: A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role Strong knowledge of HACCP principles Must have a proven track record in a similar environment The ability to produce a high standard and high quality of food Hardworking, trustworthy with a positive attitude Excellent People management skills Fluent English is essential. The successful candidate will: Be responsible for the running of the kitchen in the absence of the Head Chef Assist the Head Chef in ensuring that the highest quality food is produced for the customers and that it is presented with flair and passion. Ensure cleanliness of the kitchen is in line with Food Hygiene Regulations and to ensure that food preparation and production are carried out to the highest standards to ensure customer satisfaction Work with the Head Chef to generate ideas in the kitchen, to update menus regularly and to produce a consistent good product. Assist the head chef in training, developing and motivating the kitchen team Expected Start Date: 16/6/2021
