Bass lessons with experienced tutor & professional performer
- Date Listed22/07/2019
Stuck in a rut with your bass playing? I’ve studied music around the world and figured out how to teach it best, and I can share that with you.
I love teaching and I’ve studied how to do it under professional pedagogic instructors in Finland, a country consistently in the top 2 educational rankings, I've also been teaching for 16 years privately. In 2017 an old student and colleague wrote the winning Portuguese Eurovision song contest song contest, and I have more success stories from ex-students.
Here's some feedback from recent students:
"Paddy has been a superb teacher who has helped me develop many aspects of my musicianship. I would highly recommend him as a teacher!” - Paddy, Jazz improvisation student
"Very enjoyable class. Paddy was a great teacher and there was a good balance of technique and the philosophical.” - Michael, guitar student
"I found him to be an excellent and patient teacher.” - Gill, African guitar workshop attendee
"I really enjoyed the classes. The venue was good and the number in the class just right. Sending the videos out each week was great” - Kenneth, guitar workshops attendee
"Cara will definitely be continuing lessons with Paddy next term. He’s fantastic with her. In the space of just this term she’s gained the confidence to sing in front of her class, audition for and get a solo in her school carol service which she will be performing on Wednesday. She loves it.” - Vocal student parent feedback
"I enjoyed the class and felt I learned a lot (although I still have a Looonngg way to go)” - Jonathan, vocal student
I specialise in learning by ear, funk, pop, jazz, improvisation, world music, songwriting and I also play bass, piano & sing, so you know you are getting a full perspective.
Learn in a relaxed one-to-one environment, I’m flexible with times and will travel (within reason) for lessons in your own home. All ages welcome.
