Sherlock Recruitment have been asked by our client, one of the Irelands leading M&E Contractors to recruit an experienced Safety Officer to undertake a project in the County Cork area.
As the Health and Safety Officer, you will carry out site safety inspections, site safety audits and action any issues that may arise. You will also manage Tool Box Talks, inductions etc., along with ensuring safety training and documentation are complete, up to date and valid for work carried out. Reporting directly to the Safety Manager.
Must have experience in carrying out audits of electrical work.
You will also manage accident and incident investigations and compile relevant reports, update and review risk assessments on an ongoing basis, develop site-specific safety statements and attend meetings with clients and action any health and safety issues that may arise. Start: ASAP However, the contractor is willing to wait for the right person.

- Quality and Audit experience of electrical work

- Expertise within the Irish H&S regulations
- Own transport is required
