Kppm are looking to recruit a Pre-Construction & BID Manager (Dublin) for our client a Fitout Contractor who specialise in high-end commercial office buildings, retail, to heavy industrial data centres.
You will be responsible for: BID Production, Interview, Handover, Success Transition / Vendor Management / General / Design Criteria.
Establish overall bid packaging and bid alternates strategy for projects; as required to support schedule; coordinate with Operations Manager and / or Senior Project Manager in this regard.
You will attend tender interviews / presentations in the formulation of the plan to “sell” Tenders to Client and design team using technology (BIM, sketch-up, Photoshop, Google Slides, etc.).
On handover you will transfer completed / successful estimates to Surveying / Operations.
On transition to site you will take lead role in scheduling, planning, conducting and facilitating design / preconstruction meetings with Client and Design Team.
Education / Experience:
· Suitable candidates must have a Degree Level qualification in Construction Management or related Engineering qualification and have at least 5 years experience pre-construction/bid management role.
· You’ll have excellent computer skills and have the ability to work as part of a team in a fast paced environment.
· Establish credibility and confidence with Clients, Design Team, sub-contractors and internal team members; engender trust.
· Strive to attain 100% Customer Satisfaction rating for assigned projects; develop, cultivate and expand Client relations.
This is a full time staff position and the salary is negotiable depending on experience.
