Senior Electrical Engineer  

My Client, one of Irelands most reputable Engineering Consultancies who specialize in Commercial, Residential and Light Industrial projects, currently have an opening for a Senior Electrical Engineer for a long term, permanent role working directly for my client on their books

This is a great opportunity for the right candidate, this position is office based in Dublin City but will be temporarily work from home during the covid lockdowns, the client has said that they want to start interviewing immediately for the role and they need somebody to start as soon as possible regardless of Lockdowns

Successful candidates should have a proven track record in Electrical Engineering, my client has said they would prefer somebody with a minimum of 10 Years experience though they may be interested in candidates who have slightly less experience

Essential Experience -

· Lead projects from concept stage to completion, effectively utilising the team of electrical engineers available

· Liaise with clients, architects and project managers and enhance Ethos reputation through high quality delivery of projects

· Specification and design of Electrical Building Services systems for a range of projects through delegation to the electrical team

· Position requires thorough knowledge of electrical design and engineering techniques

· Deep knowledge of ETCI, CIBSE, IEC, BS, IS and EN Standards

· Experience in working as part of a team

· Very good proactive communicator

· Working towards a leadership role

Key Activities

· Lead Electrical Services teams for a range of projects

· Take part in the management of the group in relation to fees, resource management and team mentoring and development

· Design and specification of electrical services for various types of buildings and sectors

· Production of detailed Schematics

· Develop the electrical design standards within the organisation

· Mentoring of junior engineering staff

· Provide fully detailed tender packages and monitor installation/quality on site until project completion

· Tender report / analysis / recommendations

· Develop project scope with design team / client

· Effective knowledge (for effective delegation) of Microsoft Office, Autocad, Dialux, Amtech with knowledge of REVIT an advantage

· Produce budgets and reports for clients

· The role will be primarily office (at present online) based but will involve some site attendances

· Be capable of taking the lead on projects with minimal input from management team

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: €65,000.00-€80,000.00 per year.
