The successful candidate will have to learn the following:
To complete job sheets accurately
To read drawings
Mig & Tig Weld
To operate computerised Safan brake presses
To operate computerised Punch machine
To roll material and also to drill and countersink
Requirements and prospects
A good communicator.
Pleasant personality and able to work within a team and able to ask questions if not understanding what is required.
A minimum of Grade C (4) or above/equivalent in maths and English.
To become a fully skilled sheetmetal worker with experience with all forms of materials.
Things to consider
Apprentices are paid for their normal working hours and training that's part of their apprenticeship (usually one day per week).
