New vocabulary from the essays is picked up and is helpful towards the Aural exam. Some examples of the Aural Exam can often be completed at home in the student's free time, they can then be corrected during the tutoring session with helpful tips given. The Oral Exam normally takes place in February and marks can easily be gotten here. All students should attempt the Oral Exam. It is our aim to get as close to 40% as possible as it gives the students a better chance when completing the written paper. Personalised notes are given to each student based on their own lives and experiences. Dependant on the student's ability, difficult words are phonetically spelled to increase spoken fluency. It is recommended that the student focuses solely on the Oral in the two weeks before the exam and attends a session in the days before the Oral Examination for a mock exam. Tutoring moves at a pace that is suitable to the student. Different coursework is covered each week and personalised notes are given. All coursework materials are provided.
