An exciting array of some of the best new and emerging female comedy talent in the UK today perform stand-up, sketch, character and musical comedy at the Funny Women Awards 2019.


Hosted by #FWAwards Winner Regional Finalist 2017 Aoife O'Connor, see a host of brand new acts on their way to stardom as they compete in the Funny Women Awards Heat for a coveted place in the Semi Final. Your opinion counts as the audience has an opportunity to vote on who goes through. No winner will be announced on the day.


The Funny Women Awards were established in 2003 and have become a key fixture on the UK's comedy calendar. Past Awards alumni include Katherine Ryan, Zoe Lyons, Susan Calman, Kerry Godliman, London Hughes, Thanyia Moore, Harriet Braine, Sara Pascoe, Bridget Christie, Sarah Millican, Rachel Parris, Desiree Burch, Jayde Adams and many more.
