A well-written book on the role of landscape in art through the ages, from Egyptian and Greek through to Mediaeval times and the Renaissance ending with Claude Lorraine, Salvator Rosa and Gaspar Poussin and their influence on Turner. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
