For you, that will mean delivering the very highest standard of care as you assess nursing needs, identify and taking the right interventions for every resident who needs you. You will also supervise colleagues, manage shifts and make sure handover summaries are completed to ensure continuity of care. Above all, it's about ensuring our residents are at the core of everything you do.
We'll look to you to create a safe and supportive environment for residents with a range of physical and mental needs, whilst also relying on your professional judgement to make critical clinical decisions.
Ideally, you will be a registered nurse with at least 2 years' experience in gerontology, Although newly qualified nurses will be considered as training will be provided. In return, we are able to offer a pleasant and supportive working environment along with a competitive salary.
We are a small private family run nursing home looking for a considerate and kind nurse to join our team. We have a very low turnover of staff, many of our existing staff have been with us for over 15 years. Our nurses sort out their duty between themselves so family life is not disrupted and most requests for time off are respected.
We can also provide short term accomodation if needed to ease your transition.
