Ø Ensure the smooth running of the Sales and Marketing department– to include answering phones, document drafting, filing, liaising and placing orders with suppliers and stock control management.

Ø Assist with data entry into Salesforce CRM on a daily basis in conjunction with updating and maintain databases, templates and master lists regularly.

Ø Produce information reports and gift bags in advance of sales meetings, appointments or trade shows.

Ø Complete company needs analysis, quote accordingly and draft contracts for corporate clients and assist with the completion of RFP’s when relevant, following administrative procedures.

Ø Lead Generation and market research: Cold calling and utilisation of Salesforce CRM is a key aspect of the role, to include relevant market research.

Ø Coordinate and attend site inspections, trade events, and meetings alongside the sales team as required.

Ø Prepare the monthly sales and GDS reports in conjunction with the Corporate Sales Manager.

Ø Cross functionally liaise with other departments as required.


Ø Online reputation management: respond to online reviews across all platforms, liaise with the Marketing Manager regularly and complete a weekly online reputation report.

Ø General Assistance with overall marketing strategy – i.e. website, SEO, social media, advertising, PR distribution, e-zine creation.

Ø Developing content calendar and relevant, on brand content for all social media accounts [Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram & Twitter]. This will also include content creation, copywriting and online competitions.

Ø Content management – update website according to the Marketing Manager’s suggestions and recommendations. This will also include content creation in accordance to SEO and SEM best practices.


The individual will also gain an understanding of the hotel’s conferencing department, Meeting and Reservations department process to provide relief and assistance during busy periods.


Experience or relevant third level degree in Hospitality/tourism or a similar working environment

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Experience with Microsoft Office package desired / CRM experience desired but not essential

Ability to meet project deadlines and demonstrate attention to detail

Energetic with the ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
