The Embassy of Chile in Ireland is seeking an administrative and accounting assistant


Type: Full-time position

Objective: Support to the management of the Ambassador’s Office and Administrative Office of the Embassy of Chile in Ireland

Essential duties and functions:

- Maintaining daily calendar for the Ambassador;

- Preparing monthly financial accountability reports, monitoring account activity, processing financial transactions, billing and cash deposits;

- Facilitating meetings and appointments;

- Assisting in managing physical and electronic archive;

- Assistance in organising and executing various projects and events;

- Managing official documentation;

- Managing contact database.


- An up-to-date work permit to live and work in Ireland;

- Experience in a similar position;

- Knowledge of the techniques and principles of office administration;

- Excellent computer skills (especially in Microsoft Office);

- Team player with strong organisational and multi-tasking skills;

- Must be able to work quickly, independently and with little or no supervision, meet tight deadlines and solve problems;

- Extremely resourceful, efficient, detail-oriented, with strong self-initiative and ability to prioritise;

- Excellent interpersonal skills, good verbal and written skills;

- High degree of confidentiality and discretion;

- Bilingual in English and Spanish;

- Experience in accounting/bookkeeping or a diploma in a similar area will be considered an advantage.
