A leading Agrifood Company in Tipperary employing in excess of 100 employees invites applications for the position of HR Generalist. This position is responsible for the full HR function within the company and reports directly to the General Manager.



Key duties include:


•Design, implementation and continuous development of company’s HR strategic plan


•Design and develop HR documentation and systems to deliver an effective HR service to include best practice and legislative compliance


•Managing recruitment process, job descriptions, advertising, interviewing, references, job offers, contracts, induction, probation, training plan, staff appraisals and personnel files


•Support finance in key areas: payroll processing, joiners, leavers, benefits.


•Support Managers with advice and guidance in all HR matters, including time and attendance, HR metrics, back to work interviews, performance management, conflict resolution, disciplinary and grievance


• Develop and deliver on employee engagement strategies, including retention, training and cross training to promote and achieve a multi skilled workforce within a lean manufacturing environment


•Support the Health & Safety function with risk assessments, safety policies, accident investigations and environmental policies.




Skills and Experience:


•3rd level HR Degree


•CIPD qualification


•3 years + experience in a HR Generalist Role


•Expert knowledge of Employment Legislation and HR best practice


•Excellent MS Office Skills


•Health & Safety experience an advantage


•Food Industry experience desirable
