Homeshare Coordinator (permanent full-time)

THE HomeShare (Together Helping Each Other) was first established in 2017. It is Ireland’s only non profit Homeshare organisation which prides itself on putting safeguarding first.

The Homeshare Coordinator will support the CEO in completing the administration tasks that go along with establishing and supporting Homeshare matches. They will assist with client enquiries to ensure the highest level of support is delivered to our clients. Full training will be provided for the successful candidate.

This role is both office and commmunity based, working from our office in Kylemore, Dublin 12. The hours are Monday to Friday from 0900 – 5pm Salary dependent on experience up to €35,000 p/a and 22 days Annual Leave. Laptop and phone will be provided.

Our ideal candidate will have-

  • Excellent communication and relationship building skills, both verbal and written
  • Experience working with older people and an understanding of their needs, preferably experience working in Homecare as a Coordinator or Manager
  • Strong administration experience, proficient in Office, Word and Dropbox
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • A caring and empathetic nature
  • Access to a car and full Drivers Licence

Job Specification

The following are the responsibilities of the role, but not limited to:

· Respond to email/phone enquiries

· Phone interview and face to face interviews with Homeshare candidates

· Householder Assessments (at home or clinical setting)

· Monthly house visits for Quality Assurance check ins

· Monthly phone calls to Householders and Sharers

· Reference checking and Garda vetting

· General administration tasks

· Updating social media accounts

· Some unsocial hours
