Children’s coach required for Rugby based classes in Dublin and Kildare. (Full Training is provided)
The Role – A Rugbytots coach will be responsible for using the Rugbytots program to the extremely high standards that has made the company a success.
Typically the instructor will spend approximately 90% of their time teaching, with the balance of their time devoted to preparing for classes and providing outstanding customer service.
We currently have classes running on Saturday & Sunday mornings throughout Dublin and Kildare. Weekday options are also available.
Remuneration – Rugbytots Head Coaches will receive €15-20 Per Class depending on experience and Assistant Coaches will receive €10-€15 Per Class again depending on experience. This is paid weekly online direct into your bank account.
Please note you do not need to have a Rugby background to coach as our programme is more based around fun and someone who works well with kids.
For students (in a teaching discipline in particular) this position is ideal for those looking to gain added experience while also earning a good weekly income for a mornings work allowing you to have your weekends at your leisure.
Full Training will be provided and the responsibilities will include the following:
- Know and understand Rugbytots philosophy and program
- Teach Rugbytots classes according to the lesson plans and maintain class control while ensuring that all classes are high energy and fun
- Ensure all preparation work as per the lesson plan for the class is done in a timely fashion
Our programme has been designed to develop a child’s physical, psychological and social attributes, as well as gently encouraging rugby specific skills such as running with the ball, finding space, kicking, catching, scoring a try and much more. Our Parent/Child classes are all taught in a fun, safe environment which encourages children to develop at their own pace.
The curriculum offered involves:
- Warm up
- Multiple skills (Kicking, catching etc.)
- Educational skills such as colour recognition, counting etc
A background in coaching kids, child development, physical education etc. is certainly an advantage. The candidate must be energetic, enthusiastic, a team player and love working with children.
