Your new company are a public sector body located in Dublin City Center, therefore easily accessible via public transport. They are growing as an organisation and are therefore looking to recruit a HR Assistant for the busy HR team. The purpose of this team is to ease up the workload of the HR team and assist where necessary.

Your duties and responsibilities will include -

  • Respond to HR queries and information requests in a timely and efficient manner
  • Assist with end-to-end recruitment and selection process (e.g. arranging & preparing interview documentation, participating in interviews, reference checking etc
  • Organise and participate in HR system training for staff
  • Liaise with the system support providers to escalate system queries
  • Assist with reviewing of all HR policies and procedures
  • All other ad-hoc duties that fall within the role

The successful candidate will have -

  • 1-2 years’ experience within a professional HR environment
  • Strong organisational skills - Proficient in MS packages e.g. Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook
  • An understanding and knowledge of HR practice and Irish and EU employment legislation

You will be rewarded with -

  • A contract until the end of December with a well - known public body
  • €27,000-28,000k Depending on experience
  • 26 days annual leave prorated
  • Access to the pension scheme after successful completion of the six month probationary period
