Marketing Internship (UNPAID) 

We have fantastic opportunities for students who are one to two years from graduating to gain valuable experience in Marketing. Direct English is seeking a Marketing intern (unpaid) for a minimum 3-6 month commitment.

This role would suit a smart, enthusiastic person looking to get their foot in the door of the marketing world and interested in gaining experience in an exciting and vibrant role of Marketing.

Direct English is a super-fast growing English Language School located in Cork City. Direct English Ireland is a rapidly growing ELT franchise, with international clients and good opportunity for growth and progression

Responsibilities

1. Collect quantitative and qualitative data from marketing campaigns

2. Participation to trade fair, meeting, agent and travelling aboard for meeting is essential for this position.

3. database management, marketing, customers care,

4. customers ph calls & emails to internationally and domestically,

5. Perform market analysis and research on competition

6. Support the marketing team in daily administrative tasks

7. Assist in marketing and advertising promotional activities (e.g. social media, direct mail and web)

8. Prepare promotional presentations& Help organize marketing events

9. Help distribute marketing materials

10. Manage and update company database

Skills, Experience & requirements

1. Strong desire to learn along with professional drive

2. Solid understanding of different marketing techniques

3. Excellent verbal and written communication skills

4. Excellent knowledge of MS Office suite of software; Word, Excel, PowerPoint

5. Passion for the marketing industry and its best practices

6. Current enrollment in a related BS degree or above

7. Ability to travel and work internationally, as part of a team

What you will spend your time doing

This internship will help you acquire marketing skills and provide you with knowledge of various marketing strategies. Ultimately, you will gain broad experience in international and multicultural marketing and should be prepared to enter any fast paced work environment.

Training Period: 15th January 2020 (One week training 20 hours per week)
