Dairy Farm Assistant

We are currently looking for 2 dairy farm assistant to support daily dairy farm operations including milking, feeding, livestock care, and general farm maintenance to ensure efficient milk production and high animal welfare standards. Key Duties: Milking cows and maintaining milking equipment Feeding livestock and monitoring animal health Assisting with calving and calf‑rearing Cleaning sheds, parlours, and farm areas Operating basic farm machinery (tractors, feeders, etc.) Reporting health issues, equipment faults, or hazards Following farm safety, hygiene, and biosecurity procedures Skills & Requirements: Experience with livestock (preferably dairy cows) Ability to perform physical, outdoor work Basic animal welfare knowledge Reliability, good communication, and willingness to learn Working Conditions: Early mornings, evenings, weekends, and rostered shifts Indoor/outdoor farm environment in varying weather Remuneration is €36605.00 per year based on 39 hours work per week.
