Job description
We are looking for a Junior Engineer for a New Residential Housing Scheme in East Cork.
Reporting to Lead Engineer
Coordinate all project BCAR related documentation with assigned certifier, design teams and subcontractors
Ensuring all documents conform to established standards and procedures
Making sure all the partitions are in correct place
Ensure that all materials used and work performed are in accordance with the specifications
Inspect facilities and analyse operational data
liaise with any consultants, subcontractors, supervisors, planners, quantity surveyors and the general workforce involved in the project
Assist with General admin, management of all staff on site
Able to carry out and instruct in Setting out and levelling the site
Comply with safety regulations on all equipment and health and safety regulations of the site
Accurate record keeping and ability to interpret drawings and specifications essential
Requirements
Setting out experience is essential with use of various equipment including GPS and total station etc
A third level qualification in a technical discipline - Construction/ Civil Engineering /Building Surveying or other related area
Minimum of 1-3 years’ experience working on a construction site in a similar role
Good time management skills & ability to meet deadlines
Strong organizational & communication skills
Excellent IT Skills
