Key Responsibilities
• Interpret technical drawings, floor plans, and specifications to calculate angles, dimensions, and material requirements.
• Mix mortar, cement, or grout, and clean or level work foundations before building.
• Cut, shape, and lay bricks, natural/artificial stones, or concrete blocks using hand tools and power saws.
• Check vertical and horizontal alignment with plumb lines and levels, then smooth, joint, or polish finished surfaces.
• Demolish, patch, or relay damaged masonry on walls, chimneys, arches, and historic buildings.
• Follow site safety protocols, manage scaffolding, and use personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Strong Physical fitness and attention to detail.
Key Requirements
• 1+ years of masonry experience preferred; experience with trowels, masonry hammers, levels, chisels, masonry saws, and concrete mixers.
• Ability to stand, bend, and lift heavy blocks or stones for extended periods.
• Hard working, motivated, flexible & ability to work well in a busy environment.
• Ability to work overtime/ weekends when needed.
• Ability to communicate in English language.
