Plasterer/General Operative wanted for Cork

Plasterer/General Operative

Job Spec - the role would be very well suited to an experienced plasterer who is looking to move away from full-time plastering while still retaining the trade rate.

The work would be varied. The plastering element would generally involve smaller works such as patching chases, window reveals, repairs, etc., along with occasional skimming of individual walls or a couple of rooms. External plastering would similarly involve smaller works such as making good around new lead flashings, reveals and patches, with occasional wall panels.

For any sizeable plastering jobs, we would generally bring in a plastering subcontractor, so the plastering side of the role would mainly consist of smaller jobs and repairs rather than full-time plastering.

The remainder of the time would be general operative work. A lot of this would be lighter maintenance-type work across the various projects we have ongoing, although there would also be some traditional general labouring work required from time to time.
