Dairy Farm Assistant

Permanent full-time Dairy Farm Assistant required at Ballynabrannagh East Leamlara Co. Cork Ireland on a 350+ cow dairy farm. Guaranteed minimum gross annual basic salary: €36,605 for 39 paid working hours per week. Private accommodation is provided free of charge in addition to basic salary. Duties include milking in a 32-unit parlour; following operating procedures; monitoring milk quality and maintaining hygienic equipment; stock management, calving, calf rearing and breeding; feeding cattle, shed cleaning and slurry spreading; fencing, maintenance and general farm work. Applicants must demonstrate initiative, an enthusiastic approach and good people skills, speak English, and hold a full driving licence valid for the car and tractor duties required. Applicants must have, or obtain before commencing full-time employment, the right to undertake this employment in Ireland, including any required Irish employment permit and immigration permission. Start date to be agreed, subject to these authorisations being effective.
