Becoming part of EnChroma Orchestra

Do you play a musical instrument?
Do you want to play in our new orchestra?
If you are interested in joining our new EnChroma Orchestra for 2024, feel free to register for a first audition/meeting that will take place later in early January.

EnChroma Orchestra is a new ensemble created by Charis Markoutsas, a professional orchestral conductor, musicologist and composer. The orchestra will consist of (non)-professional instrumentalists, mostly people who love playing and being part of a team-playing ensemble.
Auditioning will assist in selecting new members for the orchestra. It will be an online interview to discuss more about the orchestra plan and progress.

The repertoire list will consist of classical, romantic and contemporary music works and pop music. Members will also have the opportunity to suggest music works of their choice to be performed.

After the auditions, candidates will be contacted for an online interview/meeting to discuss more information about the orchestra's organization and future plans.
The closing date for applications is 1st November 2023.

Audition with us

Players for the orchestra are expected to be over 18 years old and have sufficient skills in playing for at least 3 years.
Candidates will be asked to submit the application form and send a video (featuring a solo excerpt of their choice) if they wish.

There will be an update on where our rehearsals will take place.
