The Junior Customer Support agent is a member of our Customer Support team. The team provides fast, reliable & personal support to our users. We listen & we put our customers at the centre of everything that we do. We collaborate with other teams to ensure a market leading experience when products, services & solutions are delivered.

We are looking for a hardworking Customer Support agent who is passionate about helping customers succeed. The ideal candidate will enjoy identifying the root cause of problems and present solutions in a clear and concise manner to our customers.

We are seeking to recruit a full time Customer Support agent that is flexible to working weekends.

What will I be doing?
-Our Customer Support agents play a vital part in the Distilled user journey. Working closely together with product and tech to ensure the customer experience is seamless.

Here’s just some of the things you’ll work on as a Customer Support agents at Distilled:
- Handling high volumes of emails, reports and reviews in an efficient and professional manner.
- Providing fast, accurate and friendly responses to all queries.
- Analyzing the root cause behind questions and complaints, identifying patterns and solving problems and liaising with our developer team when necessary.
- Applying smart prioritization of your time to help figure out how to apply yourself to different types of requests.
- Looking for any opportunities to delight our users by surprising them with a level of service beyond their expectations.
- Monitoring all platforms for any fraudulent behavior and reporting on the findings.
- Following process to troubleshooting all technical queries across every platform and helping to solve each customer issue.
- Becoming an expert on our products and platforms.
- Developing a deep understanding of our users.
- Helping ensure our processes are always centered around the user’s best interests and the impact our sites have on their daily lives.

What skills and experience do I need?
- Have at least 2 years experience in a customer service related role.
- Excellent English verbal and written communication skills.
- Passionate about Customer Service.
- Be a real team player with a strong ability to show initiative.
- Have a keen eye for detail and identifying patterns.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Good technical skills with the ability to confidently communicate any issues to the team.
- Familiarity with Zendesk would be a plus.
- Flexible to work evenings and weekends.
