Job Description
Elk is currently recruiting Fire/Security Commissioning Engineers for a number of prestigious firms across Ireland.

Responsibilities:
• Programming, testing, commissioning and handover of Fire Alarm systems
• Commissioning and handover of Security systems
• Read and understand Electrical Drawings
• Knowledge of standards and regulations for Fire Alarm & Security systems
• Work on own initiative
• Fault find basic electrical problems
• Liaise with customers and attend site meetings

Requirements:
• Have several years’ experience within the Fire & Security industry
• Experience of leading Fire Alarm systems
• Electrical knowledge & experience gained in a trade or academically
• Excellent understanding of current standards relating to Fire & Security systems
• Experience of Fire & Security industry best practices
• Excellent planning and organisation skills
• Results & quality conscious
• Customer focused
• Ability to work to tight deadlines
• Full clean driving license
