Roofer

We are looking to expand our team due to continued growth. We have an immediate vacancy for a qualified roofer.

Duties and Responsibilities will include:
* Stripping and re-roofing houses - natural slate, fibre cement slate and concrete tile
* Felt, touch-on, GRP fibreglass and EPDM flat roofs
* Lead work: flashings, valleys, chimney and abutment detail
* Dry ridge and dry verge systems, rodge and hip work
* Repairs and leak tracking - slipped slates, cracked valleys, flashing failures
* Fascia, soffit and gutter replacement
* Velux and rooflight installation
* Storm damage call-outs and insurance work
* Setting up safely: scaffold checks, edge protection and harness work
* Keeping the site tidy and the customer's property protected
* Liaising with homeowners on pricing, repair and plan

The successful candidate will:

* Be fully qualified to carry out the above works
* Have solid experience in roofing domestic properties (length of experience in negotiable)
* Valid safe pass card
* Comfortable and confident working at height
* Be familiar with the Work at Height Regulation in practice
* Full clean drivers license (Category B)
* Excellent communication skills
