An exciting opportunity to work in with one of Ireland’s Leading Ground Service Providers, who work alongside Leading Airlines at Dublin Airport. This role predominately focuses on Coach Driving of Passengers to the arrival and departure of their flight. A detailed training plan is provided and you will be fully trained up on all the operational requirements.
Main Tasks:
· To ensure the coaches are serviceable before commencing operation.
· To ferry passengers on the company coaches, as requested by our customer airlines and safely between boarding gates and aircraft.
· To inspect the coach passenger cabin, for personal belongings, before and after each trip.
· To ensure that the vehicle exterior and passenger cabin is kept clean and tidy and floor dry as far as possible to avoid safety hazards.
· To maintain contact with your Baggage and Transport Manager in order to respond promptly to requests for service and inform them of any delays or problems in carrying out the above duties or any issues on flights especially those which could potentially cause delays.
· Report equipment faults/breakdowns.
· Know the arrival & departure time of your flight and work towards an on time departure.
Key Performance Indicator:
· Full Clean Category D Drivers Licence
· Ability to work rostered shifts and to be flexible in the event of disruptions, well under pressure in a calm and organised manner and well within a positive team environment.
· Excellent Punctuality and Attendance
Essential Criteria:
· Minimum age requirement 18 years.
· Pass a 5-year security background check and Garda Vetting process
· Provide 2 verifiable references.
• Hours: Full Time contract hours is 37.50 hours per week.
• Salary €13.00 - €13.50 gross per hour plus additional shift premium payment of €10 per Sunday worked.
Shift Work: Shift length can vary between 4 and 10 hours and will include early starts and late finishes.
