Maths Summer Revision Course - LC and JC

Dear Students!!!


I am hosting Leaving and Junior Certificate Maths Revision courses this Summer. The Junior Cert Revision course will be held over Zoom on Saturday July 30th from 10am - 2pm, with a half an hour lunch break from 12-12:30pm. While the Leaving Cert course will take place on Sunday July 31st and run over the same timeframe.


These revision courses are designed to revise many aspects of both Leaving and Junior Certificate curriculums. These courses are aimed towards students entering 6th and 3rd year respectively. But, of course, students of all years are encouraged to join.

Together, students and I will cover past State Examination Commission (SEC) Maths papers. In the Junior Cert Revision Course, paper 1 revision topics may include Algebra, Numbers and Functions among others. While paper 2 topics may include Trigonometry, Geometry and Co-ordinate Geometry.

In the Leaving Cert Revision Course, paper 1 revision topics may include Algebra, Complex numbers and Sequences and Series. Whereas Paper 2 topics may include Calculus, Probability and Geometry.

With many years working as a Mathematics grinds teacher and Mock Exam corrector, I believe in a holistic approach to teaching Mathematics. I teach students the intricacies of maths and encourage creative problem solving skills. I also clearly show students how to maximize their marks by improving student understanding marking scheme design.
