# Part-Time WooCommerce & Social Media Executive

**Location:** Northside Dublin
**Position:** Part-Time

We are looking for a practical and reliable **Part-Time WooCommerce & Social Media Executive** to help manage our online store and social media.

**Good working knowledge of WooCommerce is essential.** This is not just a social media role — a significant part of the job will involve working directly inside WordPress and WooCommerce.

Someone living on the **Northside of Dublin or nearby would be ideal**.

Having your **own transport would be useful**, including a car, scooter or moped, as there may occasionally be a need to travel between locations.

## Main Responsibilities

### WooCommerce / Website

* Manage products within WooCommerce.
* Add and update products, prices, descriptions and images.
* Create and manage product variations such as sizes and options.
* Update categories and product information.
* Manage sale prices and promotional offers.
* Update stock and product availability.
* Upload website banners and promotional content.
* Check that products and offers are displaying correctly.
* Check the website for obvious errors or checkout problems.
* Monitor online orders and highlight any issues.
* Work with existing WooCommerce plugins and extensions.
* Carry out basic WooCommerce and WordPress troubleshooting.
* Refer more technical issues to our developer when required.

**Applicants must already be comfortable using WooCommerce. Training can be provided on our particular setup, but we are looking for someone who already understands how WooCommerce works.**

### Social Media

* Manage Facebook and Instagram.
* Create and schedule regular posts.
* Promote products, special offers and sales.
* Create simple graphics using Canva or similar software.
* Create short videos and reels.
* Take photographs and videos of products when required.
* Keep social media pages active and up to date.
* Respond to or direct customer messages and comments.
* Help come up with ideas for promotions and social content.
* Assist with Meta/Facebook advertising where required.

## Skills We Are Looking For

* **Strong working knowledge of WooCommerce.**
* Experience using WordPress.
* Comfortable adding and editing WooCommerce products and variations.
* Good knowledge of Facebook and Instagram.
* Canva or similar design experience.
* Basic photo and video editing skills.
* Good written English.
* Good attention to detail.
* Comfortable working independently.
* Practical and organised.
* Own transport would be useful.

You do **not** need to be a web developer. However, you must be confident working with WooCommerce its pretty basic knowledge of woo needed.

This is a **part-time position**.

We are looking for someone who can take responsibility for keeping the online store accurate and up to date while also maintaining regular social media activity
