Description
We are currently looking to recruit a permanent, full time Deli Assistant to join our client's friendly retail team in Dingle, Co. Kerry.
At this role you will be responsible for preparing fresh foods and meals, packing products, weighing and labeling, arranging products at shelves, and keeping items fresh in adherence to the health and safety standards and providing an excellent customer service.
You must be fully flexible and available to work any 5 days from Monday till Sunday including bank holidays. The working hours are with 8 hours shift between 6am till 8pm.
Pay rate: up to €14.00 p/h (based on previous experience)
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide a fast, friendly and efficient level of customer service
- Cook, prepare and display the foods sold throughout the day
- Ensure all HACCP and food safety requirements are met, and that all reports are completed and filed accordingly
- Cooperate with others to ensure customer satisfaction
The ideal candidate will have:
- At least 6 months experience in a similar role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Organized, excellent attention to detail with the ability to multi-task
- Hard-working and flexible, with the ability to work both as part of a team and on own initiative
