dairy farm assistant

Michael Lynch’s farm at Tullig, Kilflynn, Tralee, Co.Kerry is looking for a dairy farm assistant. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the job and a drive to learn and grow within the field.

Duties and responsibilities:

Assisting in the care of milking cows. Supporting the calving process during the season. Ensuring the health and well-being of the milking cows. Support in daily milking operations. General farm management,grassland management and animal husbandry Milk quality control,disease maintenance and meeting key production targets

Requirements:
Minimum 2 year of practical experience in dairy farming.
Ability to communicate in English.
Strong work ethic and ability to thrive in a team environment.

Salary: €36,606 per annum.

Hours: 39 hours per week.

Location: Tullig, Kilflynn, Tralee, Co.Kerry
