Meat Deboner

Our client, Ballymooney Foods Limited t/a Wild Irish Game, based in Clane, Co. Kildare, is currently seeking Meat Deboners for immediate start for their facility in Clane Business Park, College Road, Clane, Co. Kildare, W91 PCPO.

Qualifications:
There are no minimum academic requirements. Training will be provided on-the-job.



General Duties / Responsibilities / Experience:

- To cut animal carcasses into large and smaller parts for further processing
- Removal of bones from pre-processed carcasses of animals manually and/or using machines
- Apply GMP
- Apply HACCP
- Apply requirements concerning manufacturing of food and beverages
- Ensure refrigeration of food in the supply chain
- Ensure sanitation and follow hygienic procedures during food processing
- Handle knives for cutting and meat processing activities
- Use meat processing equipment in cooling rooms
- Monitor temperature in manufacturing process of food
- Operate cutting equipment and weighing machines
- Process, sort and split livestock organs and carcasses
- 2 years relevant experience as a meat deboner


Minimum annual remuneration: €30k; Pay rate €14.80 per hour

Location: Clane Business Park, College Road, Clane, Co. Kildare, W91 PCPO.

Number of hours work each week: 39
