About me-
Hi there, my name is Sophia and I am going into my second year of studying primary school teaching. I hold a great interest in Dyslexia and have taken it upon myself to further research Dyslexia in primary school students. I have learned a lot about how to approach teaching students with learning difficulties in a fun yet effective way. Children with learning difficulties benefit greatly from one on one learning opportunities. As a teacher, I'm aware of how this cannot always be provided within the classroom. Because of this, I am eager to provide one on one sessions assisting children's in reading and writing through an individualised plan. I am located in Leixlip and will provide contact details below.
My approach-
-Introduction session:I will hold an introduction session to assess the child's experiment with the different learning styles.
-Individualised plan: Following this introduction session I will work together with you to come up with a plan that suits your child.
-Incremental sessions: Each session will include regular breaks, different learning approaches, and engaging activities.
-Fun learning approaches: Several fun learning approaches to suit each child- multi-sensory, active, whiteboards, play, etc.
