Spray Painter/Lacquer Spray Operator

Galtee Veneer Bonding Limited T/A The Galtee Group is currently recruiting for the role of Spray Painter/Lacquer Spray Operator for their site at Cork Road, Ballylanders, County Limerick, V35 TF76.

Responsibilities
Prepare timber panels and components for finishing, including sanding, cleaning and masking.
Mix and prepare paints, stains, lacquers and other coatings in accordance with specifications.
Operate spray-painting and lacquer spray equipment to apply coatings, ensuring a smooth, even and consistent finish.
Adjust spray equipment and application techniques as required to maintain consistent quality and finish.
Work closely with the production team to meet quality standards and production deadlines.
Strictly adhere to workplace safety and environmental regulations, including the proper storage of flammable materials and the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Qualifications & Experience
Minimum of 2–5 years’ experience within a timber, joinery, furniture or manufacturing environment.
Advanced knowledge of spray equipment, paints, stains, lacquers and finishing techniques.
Excellent attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality.
Reliable, hardworking and able to work effectively as part of a team.
Remuneration
Remuneration for this role is €36,605 per annum, based on a standard 39-hour working week.
