Cook & Kitchenhand

HELP WANTED


Cook and 2 Kitchenhands required for a large guesthouse in Co. Longford. Hours and days per week to be decided later, but positions will be considered full time, to start at the end of September/early October of this year.

Duties to Include:

Cook:

2-3 Years experience in food management preferred
Experience ordering and compiling food plans
Experience managing portion sizes against a headcount
Experience balancing a strict budget
Ability to inventory kitchen, and predict supply needs
Participates in weekly meetings with the guesthouse manager
Experience preparing Eastern European cuisine preferred, not required

Kitchenhand

No previous experience needed, training can be provided on the job
Will need to assist with dishwashing, and clearing/cleaning tables
Serve meals to guests
Take out trash
Keep the kitchen a clean and tidy space
Assist with food prep
Assist the cook as needed


Both roles must be certified in all health & safety and food handling requirements. Must have a good grasp of the English language. Other duties as assigned.
