New zealand flax plants large variety, ideal for coastal shelter belt, salt resistant and easy to plant all year round. Can be delivered in Mayo or posted to you by carrier.
New zealand flax plants(phormium tenax) available. Ideal for exposed locations especially beside the sea as they can tolerate salt laden winds. They are evergreen and easy to start off and provide cover up to 4 metres when mature(4-5yrs). They are a large sized cultivar and can provide first line of defence for sheltering other plants which may be difficult to get started in exposed coastal areas, also they are not prone to diseases and are easy to maintain.
