Health Care Assistants – Full-Time
Alvin Nursing Limited is seeking caring and reliable Health Care Assistants to join our nursing home in Rathfeigh, Tara, Co. Meath.

Location: Hillview Nursing Home, Rathfeigh, Tara, Co. Meath, C15 V291
Working hours: - Full time - 39 hours / Week
Pay rate:- €32691,00 per annum
Reports to: Nurse in Charge and Director of Nursing
Requirements
FETAC/QQI Level 5 qualification in Healthcare Support or a relevant equivalent.
Good written and spoken English and excellent communication skills.
A friendly, caring and professional approach, with empathy and respect for residents.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good knowledge of HIQA standards is desirable.
Main Responsibilities
Support nursing staff in delivering high-quality, person-centred care.
Assist residents with daily living activities, promoting their dignity, independence and well-being in accordance with individual care plans.
Report changes in residents’ needs or condition promptly to the nurse on duty.
Complete allocated daily tasks and communicate relevant care information accurately.
Follow infection prevention and control procedures, health and safety requirements, confidentiality policies and the home’s uniform policy.
Recognise and report incidents, hazards, and missing or damaged equipment.
Work within the scope of the role and follow the home’s policies and procedures.
Participate in staff meetings, training and the orientation of new employees and students.
Treat residents, families, colleagues and visitors with courtesy and respect.
Undertake other appropriate duties assigned by nursing management.
