Position Overview: We are currently seeking a skilled 1st and 2nd Fixing Carpenter to join our team on a trial basis. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to showcase their expertise, work ethic, and dedication to craftsmanship. If the trial period is successful, we are excited to offer a long-term full-time position within our dynamic and growing company.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform 1st and 2nd fixing carpentry tasks, including but not limited to installing structural components, doors, windows, cabinetry, and finishing touches to a high standard of quality.
Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and plans to accurately execute carpentry tasks.
Utilize your own tools and equipment to efficiently complete assigned projects.
Collaborate with the construction team to ensure seamless coordination of tasks and timely project completion.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety guidelines and regulations at all times.
Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to provide progress updates and address any potential challenges.
Qualifications and Skills:
Proven experience as a 1st and 2nd Fixing Carpenter in the construction industry.
Proficiency in using a wide range of carpentry tools and equipment.
Strong understanding of carpentry techniques, materials, and best practices.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, showcasing problem-solving skills.
Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering quality workmanship.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to travel to various job sites.
Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues and supervisors.
A positive attitude, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
