Personal Assistant / Carer – Lobinstown, Navan, Co. Meath

I am a retired woman that cares for my disabled son following a head injury. We live independently in Lobinstown.

I am looking for a reliable Personal Assistant / Carer to assist me and my son with day to day tasks and activities. Driving is essential in this role.

What will you do?
Help us maintain our independence and support all aspects of our lives.
• Assist with the activities of daily living / personal activities
• Household Duties
• Prompt medication
• Meal preparation
• Keeping company & providing personal care

Skills we are looking for:
• A caring, friendly, compassionate and understanding person
• Previous care experience preferred
• Conversational English and Eligible to work in Ireland
• Full clean drivers licence and willing to drive our wheelchair adapted vehicle
• First aid training preferred
• Updated mandatory courses such as Patient Moving, and Handling Certificate are desirable
• Willingness to undergo Garda Vetting
• Experience working in a healthcare background and passionate, positive individuals who are knowledgeable about professional personal care

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Hourly rates of €15 to €20 per hour (dependent on qualifications & experience)

Fortnightly pay

Part-time hours: min 3.5 hour shifts

Care required to cover the below hours (3-5days per week):
Monday – Friday 9am to 12.30pm
