We believe in promoting independence, dignity, and a high quality of life for all our Resudents. We are looking for kind, reliable, and motivated Support Care Workers to join our growing team.
Key Responsibilities
Personal Care: Assist with showering, dressing, grooming, and toileting with respect and dignity.
Mobility Support: Help Residents move safely around their homes using approved techniques and equipment.
Daily Living: Aid with light housework, meal preparation, grocery shopping, and running essential errands.
Companionship: Provide meaningful social interaction, emotional support, and accompaniment to community activities.
Reporting: Keep clear daily logs and report any changes in a Resident's health or well-being.
Requirements & QualificationsEducation:
QQI Level 5 in Healthcare Support or a related field is highly preferred (or currently working towards it).
Experience: Previous experience in home care, community care, or nursing homes is a strong advantage.
Vetting: Must successfully pass standard Garda Vetting and provide excellent professional references.
Transport: A full clean driving licence is highly desirable for community travel.
Attributes: Reliable, patient, empathetic, and fluent in English.
