Description
Valley Filters Limited are currently recruiting a welder for their facility at Ross Road Industrial Estate, Carrickmacross, Co. Monaghan .
Key Responsibilities
• Perform high-quality MIG (Metal Inert Gas), TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas), and MMA (Manual Metal Arc) welding on steel, stainless steel, and aluminium components used in filter assemblies.
• Read, analyse, and interpret complex engineering blueprints, technical drawings, and custom fabrication specifications.
• Cut, shape, bend, fit, and assemble sheet metals and structural steel parts to construct industrial filter housings, silo systems, and custom bag-house frames.
• Perform structural modifications, cutting, and welding repairs during the re-manufacturing and reconditioning of heavy-duty air and industrial filters.
• Inspect welded joints for defects, measure finished components with precision tools to ensure dimensional accuracy and adhere to strict quality control standards.
• Safely operate workshop fabrication equipment, including plasma cutters, grinders, drills, and bending brakes.
• Maintain a clean, safe workspace and comply fully with Irish workplace safety regulations and company safety protocols.
• Minimum of 2–3 years proven experience working in a similar role essential.
Remuneration is €36,605 per annum based on a standard 39 hour week.
