Duties

Taking orders from customers in person or over the phone

Accurately entering orders into the restaurant's computer system

Communicating special requests or dietary restrictions to kitchen staff

Preparing food items according to the restaurant's recipe and preparation guidelines

Serving food to customers over the counter

Handling cash and credit card transactions

Operating cash registers or card readers

Taking online orders

Maintaining a clean and hygienic work area

Washing dishes and cleaning equipment

Sweeping or mopping floors

Providing friendly and knowledgeable customer service

Handling customer complaints and resolving issues in a professional manner.
