Farm Operative

We are looking for an experienced farm worker to join our busy dairy farm. We are seeking an honest, full-time farm operative to assist on our 280-cow dairy farm, grass based spring calving herd. Excellent hourly salary for all hours worked, for the right person, plus 'Bonus' on offer at end of spring calving season.

Responsibilities;

Milking – Following standard operating procedures, ensuring clean hygienic milking equipment, etc…
Stock management – supporting spring calving, calf rearing/feeding and general animal management.
Machinery duties – Feeding cattle, shed clearing, slurry spreading, etc.
Maintenance – fencing, cleaning, general farm work etc...
Working with existing staff on our farm

Requirements:

A drivers licence for driving a tractor
Permit / passport to work in the European Union
Fluent English is advantageous but not required
We need you to have an enthusiastic work attitude, good self-initiative, and be punctual.
